EFR Instructor Course
During the 28 day special PADI IDC in Bali with Blue Season Bali we always have a break half way through in order to comlpete the PADI Emergency First Response Instructor course. This course focuses on teaching people how to train and market to others basic first aid, secondary care and CPR. During the two days of EFR Instructor the Instructor candidates will learn how to role model all the skills from the EFR and Care for Children Course. They will aso learn how to market EFR and CFC courses and then professioanlly conduct them.
Blue Season Bali conducts the EFR Instructor course every month during the PADI IDC's. We are also able to run these courses on demand so if you are interested in teaching EFR and CFC in your local area contact us.

It's only a few hours away from starting! Our six IDC candidates are getting ready for the biggest occasion of their diving lifes. PADI Course Director Training 2010
Congratulations to Tom West and Taka Matsumoto for becoming PADI Course Directors at the recent PADI CDTC in Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia. They have now reached the pinnacle of their training with PADI and will now start to teach the PADI Instructor Development courses in Bali with Blue Season Bali.

PADI IDC March 2010
Day two of the IDC preparation course is now over with everyone succesfully completing the days events. The seven IDC candidates from England, Indonesia, Norway, Finland and Germany all had a lot of fun in the ocean this morning going through the descent, ascent and CESA workshops. Tomorrow we continue on with our IDC curriculum presentations.
The candidates will be undertaking 2 weeks of training upon which time they will all take the PADI Instructor examination which is scheduled for the 26th March.

Happy New Year from Blue Season Bali
2010 is finally here and we hope that you have enjoyed the festivities over the last 2 weeks. Bali has been really busy over Christmas and the New Year and we are now looking forward to the first IDC of 2010.
On the 15th January we will be running our first 1 month IDC which will really focus on creating some quality PADI Instructors. If you have not already signed up then there are still one or two places left.
During this IDC we will be doing our new Intro to Tec diving workshop and our new Website Builder workshop in order to give you the best chance of finding work within the industry. We also have loads of other extras to help you along the way.
When it comes to professional Instructor development there is only one choice in Indonesia!

PADI AWARDS CDC
We were delighted to have the PADI regional manager award us the official award for achieving the PADI CDC rating in 2009. There are only about 50 PADI CDC's in the world so this is a great achievement for any dive company.
We also received a certificate of appreciation for our large donation to Project AWARE after the International Cleanup day in September 2009. Thanks to everyone who took part.

PADI IDC - Success at the PADI IE
Congratulations to Yasu, Thomas, Nao, Florian and Hiro who have all just passed their PADI Instructor Examination in Bali.
Once again Blue Season Bali shows why it is the only place to choose when considering PADI Instructor Training in Bali. Congratulations also to the PADI IDC team who have worked through the last few weeks to bring success to the five candidates.

PADI IDC - Now comes the IE
Congratulations to Phil who has just successfully completed his PADI IDC Staff Instructor course with Course Director Jonathan.
Phil has been assisting on the IDC that has five candidates, Thomas, Florian, Yasu, Nao and Hiro, who are all about to take the IE on the 1st November.
The next IDC staff Instructor courses begins on the 17th November with the IDC then starting on the 20th November, for anyone interested please contact us.

PADI IDC Staff Instructor
The time has come round again for the next round of PADI Instructor candidates. On the 15th we have the IDC Staff Instructor course where we will teach experienced PADI MSDT's how to teach PADI Assistant Instructors and staff the IDC.
The IDC Staff Instructor candidates will then get the chance to audit the entire IDC with our PADI Course Director, Jonathan. This is where they get the chance to put their skills to the test as the Instructor candidates go through their paces.
The next IDC staff Instructor courses begins on the 15th October with the IDC then starting on the 18th October, for anyone interested please contact us.

PADI IDC in Bali
The latest Instructor candidates are just hours away from the next PADI Instructor Examination in Bali. Lisa, Kane and Sar have been working over the last 2 weeks towards becoming PADI Instructors and now the time is almost here.
Tomorrow will be the PADI IE where the examiner from PADI will come and test there Instructor skills over three days. This extensive three day program will be the final step for the three candidates who will then go onto start teaching new divers.

International cleanup Day!
Blue Season Bali would like to thank everyone involved during today's beach and underwater cleanup. During the day we have managed to cleanup lots of rubbish from the beach and dive sites in Sanur.
During the evening we have also managed to raise over USD1000 for project AWARE through auctioning off PADI merchandise amongst other things. The steal of the night was raising USD200 for the PADI regional managers Aston Villa shirt - well done Tony!

Time for the PADI Instructor Examination!

Let the IDC begin!

Ten new PADI Instructors - Congratulations to all!

This IE has been conducted by the PADI Examiner, Thomas Knedlik, who has just certified Bill, Nadine, David, Artur, Jason, Moira, Ramon, Yuko, Naoki and Yoshi as PADI Instructors. Well done to all - now is the time to celebrate!

MIDE 2009
We would like to say a huge thanks to everyone who came to see us at MIDE in KL this year. The dive exhibition was a great success and it was a pleasure to meet so many of our guests. Blue Season Bali has been exhibiting in Malaysia for the last three years and will continue to come to KL each year. This year we had a great response for our special dive packages. PADI IDC Dates for 2010
PADI has just confirmed the PADI IE dates for 2010 in Bali. We are really happy to announce that we will be conducting ten (10) PADI IDC's throughout 2010. This gives any prospective PADI Instructor the most flexibility when choosing when to take part in Indonesia's most successful PADI Instructor Development Course.
Dates may vary slightly as we progress through the year so stay in touch for detailed information about the PADI IDC Bali.

PADI Digital Underwater Photography Specialty Instructor
Four PADI Instructors from Blue Season Bali just finished their PADI Digital Underwater Photography Specialty Instructor course with PADI Course Director, Jonathan. The diving at Nusa Penida today was awesome with Manta action and two incredible dives at Toyapakeh and SD. Superb vis, minimal current and some great photo opportunities made for a superb PADI DUP course.

PADI Assistant Instructor - Tania
Congratulations to Tania Stanzani who has just completed her PADI Assistant Instructor course with our PADI Course Director, Jonathan. Tania has spent the 
last few days giving presentations in the classroom, pool and open water in order to gain the first step on the way to the PADI Instructor Level. Well done Tania.

Our five new PADI Instructors have just come back from completing their MSDT preparation training course in Tulamben with our PADI Course Director, Jonathan. The new PADI instructors have been taking the Deep, Wreck, Night, Naturalist and O2 provide Instructor specialty courses.

PADI Instructor Examination looming
The day is finally here for our five PADI IDC candidates, Russell, Igor, Dave, Chris and Jon. The last few weeks have been a really enjoyable time where the candidates have gone from being PADI Divemaster's to PADI Instructors. This final examination by the PADI staff will certify these five PADI members to the level of PADI Instructor. We don't wish them good luck as they do not need it!

PADI MSDT Course Starts on the 10th June
Now that the current PADI IDC is in full swing we are beginning to plan for the upcoming PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer preparation course that will be conducted after the PADI IE is over. The three days will be well spent going over how to conduct PADI Specialty Diver Courses. Undertaking the MSDT prep course with our Course Director, Jonathan, allows you to teach PADI Specialty courses straight away, without having to have experience in that area.

New IDC Dive Pool - Revealed
As promised, here is a photo of our brand new custom built dive pool. It is 3 meters deep, just perfect for training and ideal for IDC candidates to practice their skills. During the IDC you are able to practice your skills anytime you like as the pool is only 3 meters from the classroom. We have also kept the gardens lush, in a traditional Balinese style so that you can relax by the pool when the day has finished.
May 2009 IDC - Making History!
The May IDC will be making Blue Season Bali history as it will be the first ever PADI IDC to be held at the new dive school. All candidates participating will be the first to try out our brand new classroom and 3 meter dive pool.

A huge congratulations to Mark, Mike, Jo, Jenny, Triston and Fufu who all just passed their PADI Instructor Examination in Bali. PADI Course Director 2009
Blue Season Bali would like to congratulate our very own director, Jonathan Cross, for becoming one of the latest PADI Course Directors.
Jonathan completed the Course Director Training Course in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia at the beginning of this month and is now a PADI Course Director.
Blue Season Bali now has two PADI Course Directors on staff that will allow us to provide levels of service that are unsurpassed in Bali.
During 2009, Blue Season Bali will be running eight Instructor Development courses, PADI IDC, and then in 2010 there will be an IDC almost every month.
Just in - New Blue Season Bus arrives!
At last we are proud to see our new Suzuki Elf bus arrive with us at Blue Season Bali. This new vehicle will provide a new standard of travel for our guests traveling to Tulamben and Padang Bali and also our overnight dive safari's.
