PADI Open Water Course - If you’ve always wanted to learn how to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves, the PADI Open Water diver course in Bali is where it starts.
The fun part about this course is . . . well, just about all of it because learning to dive is incredible. You breathe underwater for the first time (something you’ll never forget) and learn what you need to know to become a PADI certified diver.
PADI IDC Bali - Open Water Course Structure
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
- Knowledge Development (online or home study ) to understand basic principles of scuba diving.
- Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills.
- Open Water Dives to review your skills and explore the superb Bali Diving sites!
To start with the PADI Open Water Course you will be given the PADI Open Water diver manual which you will be expected to read, and answer the knowledge reviews. You will also watch 5 dvd's and then our PADI Instructor will assess your knowledge and fill in any missed questions that you have.
We then take you into the swimming pool in order to complete five confined water dives. During these dives you will learn all of the skills required to dive safely and Independently.
PADI IDC - Open Water Training Dives
Once you have mastered the skills in confined water we will then take you for the Open Water Training dives. This is where you get to explore the best Bali diving sites around.
The Open Water Course normally consists of four days of training. The first two days consists of the knowledge development and confined water training dives.
The final two days compromise four open water training dives where after successful completion, you will receive your PADI Open Water Diver Certification. Now you can start thinking about advancing your skills with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course.
PADI Open Water Diver Course Price
The cost for the PADI Open Water Diver course in Bali is as follows:
PADI Open Water Course - USD525.00 per person.
Elearning option - USD120 per person payable to PADI, USD525.00 per person payable to Blue Season Bali.
Open Water Diver course referral (open water training sessions only) USD335.00 per person.
These prices include everything required to complete the course including materials, dive equipment, lunch, drinks, insurance, instructor fees, etc.
