Our PADI IDC Asia program takes you through an extensive educational adventure that starts with a host of workshops, our exclusive two day Dive Instructor Preparation Course, followed by Asia's finest SCUBA Instructor Training Course (PADI IDC Bali).
You will be with Dive Instructor candidates like you who are also working to become PADI SCUBA Instructors. Working as a team is necessary and will give you
much more value and opportunity to learn. Camaraderie is a big part of
your PADI Instructor Development Course and is a major benefit of working in the
diving industry. Our PADI Course Directors, will be with you throughout
your IDC in Bali and to ensure that you have the best possible start as a Scuba Diving Instructor.

PADI IDC - workshops, elearning plus more
If you are joining our 28 day Special IDC then prior to starting we go through six days of workshops, IDC elearning and skills. If you have not already completed the PADI IDC elearning then you will spend two days out of this period completing the independent study with our PADI Course Directors and IDC Staff Instructors. We recommend you complete the PADI IDC elearning prior to arriving in Bali. If you do this then you can go and dive with us for free whilst the others are completing the PADI IDC elearning.
For the 12 day IDC we insist that you have completed the PADI IDC elearning before arriving in Bali.
Apart from the PADI IDC elearning we will also complete Compressor and Equipment workshop, CV and AWARE workshops. These all enhance your learning experience and ensure you have a solid foundation prior to starting your adventure as a PADI Instructor.
PADI Instructor Preparation Course
Your 28 day Special PADI IDC in Bali also focuses on getting you up to the level necessary to begin the IDC. Preparation is key to being successful as a PADI Instructor - Read how to guarantee success at the PADI Scuba Instructor Course
Blue Season Bali's exclusive Instructor Preparation Course primarily focuses on the following:
- Confined water skills workshop- You will work with our experienced instructor development staff to perfect your demonstrations of the 20 Basic Scuba Skills, rescue skills and much more.
- Dive theory review- Your dive theory knowledge will be assessed and reviewed, allowing you to be fully-prepared for your PADI Instructor Development Course.
- PADI Standards and Procedures- We will teach you the overall structure of PADI's Instructor Materials. This gives you a great introduction on how to use the Instructor Manual!
- Open Water Course workshop- You will work with our experienced instructor development staff to perfect you teaching techniques on the PADI open water course.
PADI Dive Instructor Course (AI & OWSI)
After the instructor preparation course, we conduct the PADI EFR Instructor course which is included in the 28 day Special IDC but not in the standard 12 day IDC.
We then have 12 days of PADI Instructor Development with our PADI Course Directors and our PADI IDC Staff/ Master Instructors.

PADI Instructor Evaluation - PADI IE Asia
After you successfully complete your PADI IDC in Asia with Blue Season Bali, you are more than ready for the PADI IE. This is where you will show PADI's staff examiner that you are ready to be a PADI Instructor.
After successfully completing the PADI IE, all you need to do is celebrate! You are now a PADI Instructor!
